Hello. Remember me? I used to post here a lot.
I’ve been dealing with continuing serious medical issues of a family member, and it has all but consumed every part of my life for the past few months. I hope to eventually get back to some sort of regular schedule. There’s still so much to write about!

Clicking through your old posts was a great suggestion. I went back to “Goodbye, Merle” with the photo of Merle Haggard gazing at the statue of Lefty Frizzell in a Corsicana park in the 90s. I remember being blown away by a post in the comment section below the piece from Suzanne Fluker.
