Our Dallas ancestors were of tougher stock…I can’t imagine surviving the summer without air conditioning. And ice in drinks or water was kind of a luxury, too!

I would absolutely not have been able to survive these summers without air conditioning. Weather-wise, I should be living in some dark and cool place where it rarely gets above 60 degrees. Summer is not my friend!
