Just a quick one today: loco chugging past the White Swan Building.

The historic White Swan Building is located at 2200 N. Lamar, just north of Woodall Rodgers; it currently houses the House of Blues.

My sources seem to agree this locomotive was built in 1914, but if it exhibits some sort of update MKT applied subsequently you’d need an actual rail buff to sort that out. As it is, this locomotive and the others of its class served for a pretty long time with Katy, probably into the 1940s.
