Wonderful image of these young Ladies. Thank you. My grandmother, Sarah Tutwiler, was a telegrapher in the Dallas Western Union up to 1917 so it seems possible she could be pictured!. I don’t suppose there were names on the photograph. She happened to have some notoriety for being deaf but she could hear the high range clicks of the telegraph.

How interesting! I know that a lot of deaf men were employed as linotype operators because the working environment was so loud. I don’t believe anyone in the photo was identified.
